Duval suffers from a lot of unprocessed grief and misdirected anger. He has also done a lot of awful things for his sister. His backstory includes: death/murder of a family member, murder in general, obsessive/possesive tendencies (towards his sister), emotional manipulation, (non-consensual) necromancy, and gore. He will also have very little sense of self-preservation going forward.
